Authorities with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed a body was found inside a burned car in Cheatham County.
TBI agents said they’re investigating after the body was found off of Wiley Pardue Road in Ashland City.
Details on the cause of death were not yet available. The person’s identity had not been determined. Authorities added they're unsure how long the vehicle may have been at that location.
Officials said on Saturday they were assessing the scene. The investigation remained ongoing.
