A man's body was discovered at a HCA building under construction in Nashville.
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, the body was found by building security Wednesday.
Police believed the man jumped the construction fence on Charlotte Avenue, but fell into a 4 or 5 feet-deep hole right inside the fence.
During the fall, he hit his head and died on site.
Police responded to a hit-and-run near the site about an hour before the body was found. The driver involved fled on foot. Police said they were looking into whether or not the two cases were related.
