The closest fire hydrant was on Old Franklin Road and it's apparently broken. As a result, there was a large response to haul in water from half a mile away.
Firefighters had to pull off the metal to attack hot spots in the structure.
The fire traveled to a car, forcing crews to put foam on the vehicle to keep the blaze contained.
No one was inside at the time, and there were no injuries.
It's not clear how the fire started.
