Police have released the 911 calls after a woman was carjacked at gunpoint in a Hendersonville neighborhood.

It occurred around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday on Heron Nest Lane, a seemingly peaceful neighborhood close to the Cumberland River.

Officials with the Hendersonville Police Department said the area had previous car burglaries.

Investigators said a woman who was going to work was approached by at least three armed men who stole her vehicle. The victim told police that one of the gunmen prevented her from closing the car door.

Two neighbors heard her yell for help and called 911. The two 911 calls were released to NewsChannel 5 moments after the victim was carjacked.

"I think my neighbor's car was stolen next door. I just heard a lady calling, "Help! Help! Help! Help! Help!'," a neighbor said to the 911 dispatcher.

Detective Sergeant J.D. Coarsey said the woman's black 2013 Infiniti G37 was spotted in the east part of Nashville later in the morning. However, police could not catch the suspects nor recover the vehicle.

"They did have either hoodies or jackets on because it was dark out so I couldn't see them," the victim said during the second neighbor's 911 call. "I literally had my car in reverse."

The investigation revealed there have been numerous vehicle burglaries in the area of Heron Nest Lane. Two vehicles stolen from Mt. Juliet and Cloverfield Court in Hendersonville were located on the same street.

Detectives were working leads, hoping to discover if the same robbers were involved in other incidents. A more detailed suspect description was not determined.

Officials with the Hendersonville Police Department had warned residents about other car burglaries discovered in the area of Sumner Meadows.

Authorities have been reminding residents to lock their vehicles and never leave the keys inside.

Anyone with information has been asked to call Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at 615-573-5400.
