An 87-year-old man was killed in Nashville when he was hit by a vehicle in a drag race.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the driver who caused the deadly crash could face criminal charges.
The wreck happened Monday evening on Antioch Pike at Wingate Avenue. Metro Police said 20-year old Kevin Carcamo-Rodriguez was street racing when he hit a sedan that just turned onto Antioch Pike.
James Bryan, 87, was pinned inside his car. He later died at the hospital.
Carcamo-Rodriguez initially received a misdemeanor citation for drag racing, but the District Attorney is looking into the possibility of pressing criminal charges.
