A 21-year-old was killed in a late-night crash on Interstate 24 in Montgomery County.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on I-24 West in Clarksville.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said Sherri Burks was traveling westbound when she came upon traffic congestion.
Burks reportedly tried to go around a truck pulling a trailer that had slowed down. Troopers said she was killed after crashing into the truck at a high rate of speed.
The driver of the truck, Timothy Hodel, was not hurt.
No charges would be filed in the wreck.
